The House.
Samadhi, a serene retreat in an urban setting, is a home that tells the story of a love for travel, artistry and entertainment. Each room and area allows for comfortable elegance that seamlessly flows between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The 4-bedroom house, 3-bedroom cottage feature modern architecture with a tranquil African influence on the interior design and offers over 1000 square meters (m2) of living area and space for up to 14 guests. A pool, tennis court and garden oasis complete the estate. Samadhi embodies sustainable design which includes solar panels and pumped borehole water. The house boasts an exquisite contemporary art collection, including photographs by Freddie Child-Villiers, sculptures by Dylan Lewis and paintings that showcase Africa’s vibrant and diverse culture.

Kitchen.
The flowing gourmet kitchen space has character, warmth and top of the range Miele and Gaggenau appliances. Its beauty is only matched by its functionality, simple yet sophisticated. The refined and elegant allure of the space will ensure all meals feel like a Michelin Star dining experience. The bar area extends on from the kitchen, setting the perfect scene to sample some exquisite local South African wines.
Dining Room.
The earth-toned, open-concept dining room, with a built-in fireplace and underfloor heating, offers a subtle touch of vibrancy and verdant greenery to bring the outside to indoor dining. A ten-seater table is designed for cosy family-style dining or more elaborate and elegant dinner soirees.
Sitting Room.
The impeccably appointed sitting room and entertainment area flows from the inside out, with sweeping views of the mountains surrounding the property, which creates a perfect setting for grand or casual entertaining. It is a light and airy space with a seamless fusion of sophistication and peaceful living. The sitting room overlooks the pool and the oversized entertainment patio, from which guests can enjoy the spectacular Cape Town sunsets.
Media Room.
The media room features elegant furnishings, state-of-the-art sound and visual systems and access to all streaming and entertainment services available. This room was designed to induce maximum comfort and relaxation.
Bedrooms.
The main house consists of four luxuriously appointed, en-suite bedrooms. Enjoy the best night’s rest under soft, luxurious linens and wake up to the exquisite pastel morning sky over Hout Bay. The spacious master bedroom has two balconies designed to maximize the magnificent views of the ocean and mountains.
Office.
In today’s fast-paced and ultra-connected world, we need space to ensure that we are kept up-to-date and in the loop. The office nook, which overlooks the pool area and the bay in the distance, offers a fully-functional, technologically equipped space from which guests can keep up with their business life while still maintaining their holiday feel.
Cottage.
A self-contained 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with sweeping mountain views and a deck overlooking the tennis court is nestled in the lush, secluded grounds of Samadhi. The cottage has its own fully-equipped, sleek and stylish kitchen and an elegant reception room with fireplace, which creates a style as sophisticated as the surroundings.
Flat.
A self-contained, one bedroom (with en-suite) flatlet complete with sitting room and picture-perfect panoramas out over the mountains sits adjacent to the house. It features access via a private staircase or external access from the garden.

Swimming Pool.
Offering laid-back luxury with a deep connection to the surrounding natural world, the swimming pool is one of the best places for guests to spend the halcyon Cape Town days. The 14m heated, saltwater pool has a shallow end and a child-friendly staircase- perfect for family fun. Unwind and relax on the superb outside verandah surrounding the pool, along with a dedicated bar area and fire pit, all the while experiencing spectacular views of the famed Cape Town sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.
Tennis Court.
The private tennis court set within the Samadhi Estate is one of the most breathtaking spots to go ‘game-set-match’ in the world. The court offers unique views of towering palms, rugged mountains and a glimpse of the ocean. With views like this, it might be all but impossible to keep an eye on the ball!
Gym & Steam Room.
Overlooking the lush gardens and equipped with the best of Technogym machines that offer ergonomic functionality, guests are able to stay active and fit on holiday with a private gym on the property. There is also a space for yoga, so that both physical and spiritual wellness are catered for. Post-workout, guests are invited to relax and find mindfulness in the zen-like steam room which overlooks an indigenous garden.

Security.
Samadhi is exceptionally secure. The property is fenced and two sides of the plot border onto a gated estate. There is a guardhouse at the front entrance. A stay here includes peace of mind over all security concerns.
Parking.
There is a secure two-car, lockable garage as well as an additional eight parking spaces in the driveway, three of which are undercover.
Optional.
Private Chef.
At guest request, we can book a private chef to cater to every need during a stay at Samadhi. Food and vacations go hand-in-hand and hiring a private chef will allow guests more time to enjoy their holiday while the chef focuses on healthy, delicious foods that cater to specific preferences.
Massage Therapist.
Complete a Samadhi experience with a touch of serious pampering. We are able to book a private massage therapist to treat guests with a comprehensive range of spa treatments. Enjoy a manicure in the comfort of your bedroom or a massage out on the pool deck. It is utter relaxation.

We can book a bespoke private car and chauffeur service to whisk guests around the must-see and do sights and attractions of Cape Town and surrounds. It takes the stress out of self-drives or the time-consuming waits for e-hailing services.
